The solid wood bed
A solid wood bed radiates calm and serenity and gives the impression of being powerful and solid in the room. When buying, however, you should make sure that the bed of your choice has an Eco-Control seal and has thus been treated exclusively with environmentally friendly wax and oil. Such a bed does not emit harmful substances that can negatively affect the indoor climate or even cause allergies.
The upholstered bed
An upholstered bed has a headboard, which is covered with fabric or leather. Some specimens also have an upholstered frame. It enjoys great popularity, as many people appreciate the protective feeling during sleep, which gives them the soft headboard. The upholstered bed is also preferred in the bedroom by people who read in bed and use the headboard for support.
The futon bed
The futon bed has its origin in Japan. It is a form of bed in which the mattress is placed on the floor or alternatively on a low wooden frame. An original Japanese futon bed is filled with cotton fibers. For this reason, it requires some maintenance. In our country, a futon is usually a very thin mattress, which together with the bed frame can often even be folded into a couch.
The waterbed
A waterbed has a mattress which is filled with water. Numerous doctors recommend this type of bed, especially for people with back problems.
